I’ll own up to being dumb: who is Colleen Lewis, please ?
That view through the shutters could well be somewhere down here !

    • Don’t feel dumb, I don’t think she was world famous. Colleen was a Canadian whose education weighed heavily on the arts. More importantly, she was a good friend of the Barbadian artist and educator, Annalee Davis, who founded the reading room as a part of the Fresh Milk Platform Inc., a creative space for local and international artists, which happens to be on a farm with lots of cows.

Many of the books in the collection were books Colleen accumulated during her studies.

      Hope that helps!

We are going through a terrible drought at the moment; Barbados is usually greener than that.

Climate change. There is nothing else to be said.
But that explains why the view resembles Oz !!!
Thanks so much for the info.: I am now a wiser old fart ! 😀
